We need your help to make the change. A little passion of yours can make the difference. So join the English Language Club to create a cause and make the change in this campus. We have a few ideas, you decide which one you like best and let us know alright we will ty our best to run it.

NO FACEBOOK DAY

Well not precisely one day but three. Try not to log in to Facebook these three days and see what you did with all the free time you have. We will have a gathering to share all the things we can do other than staying in front of the computer screen facing the blue and white page.

A CAUSE AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY

Any pet lovers here? Even if you don't keep pets, I don't think anyone can bear seeing animals being tortured. They to have senses and feelings. If human can't bear being tortured, why should they?

30 Hour Famine

Hungry for a cause. 16000 children die of hunger everyday. By going through 30 hours without solid food you can give them a better life, more importantly hope. Join us in this cause and let us take you on a journey beyond language, hope.

Save paper, save the Earth

Well, we don't have to cancels all exams to save papers. The papers we spend on events promotions are more than all the test and exams add together.

A penny saved is a penny earned

Many of us scholars complain that RM 500.00 is not enough. Whenever we need to buy something we normally spend excessively and starve for the rest of the month. So why not save RM 2 a day and by the end of the month you would have RM 60 already.

Quote of the day

To err is human, to forgive divine

This idiom means means everyone of us makes mistake, it is good for us to forgive them.

Breaking it down:

"To err" means to make mistake so the phrase implies that every human makes mistake

"divine" is referring to God. This implies that to forgive is a difficult task and when we forgive others we have God's ability to forgive others for their wrongdoings.

Sentence usage:

" I'll never forgive him for what he has done!"

" Just let it go, to forgive is human, to err divine"

Something to ponder about : Destiny

Deciding on the Destinies of Others
Malba Tahan tells the story of a man who met an angel in the desert and gave him water.
“I am the angel of death and I came to get you,” said the angel. “But as you were kind, I will lend you the Book of Destiny for five minutes; you may change what you want.”

The angel gave the man the book. As he was leafing through its pages, the man began reading about the lives of his neighbors. And he got discontented,
“These people don’t deserve such nice things,” he said. With the pen in hand, he began worsening the lives of each one.

Finally, he reached the page of his destiny. He saw his tragic end, but as he prepared to change it, the book disappeared. Five minutes had already passed.
And right there, the angel took the man’s soul.
